2 cups all purpose flour
1 teaspoon sugar
1 teaspoon baking soda
1 teaspoon salt
8 tablespoons cubed very cold butter
3/4 cup (more or less if needed) milk

In a large bowl combine flour, sugar, baking soda, salt.

Cut butter into mixture until it looks like cornmeal.

Slowly add milk into mixing bowl. Knead with your fingers.

Press out dough onto a lightly floured surface.

Cut flattened dough with biscuit cutter.

Preheat oven to 425 °F.

Butter bottom of skillet, place in biscuits.

Bake for 12 minutes or until golden brown.
