French Toast


Bread 1 loaf, sliced
Eggs 2
Whole Milk 1 2/3 cup
Sugar 3 tbsp.
Salt Pinch
french toast

Grease a glass pan with butter.

Coat one side of each bread slice with butter and arrange bread on glass pan, coated side up.

Whisk together eggs, milk, sugar, and salt into a custard.

Cover bread with custard mix.

Bread can be fresh or stale. The more stale the bread, the longer it needs to soak (1 h to 1 day). Let rest in refrigerator if soaking over 1 h.

Bake @ 425°F for 20-25 minutes.
