Roast Beef | ||
Beer (Pilsner) | 1 can | |
Salt & Pepper | ||
Celery Stick | 1, chopped | |
Garlic | 2 cloves | |
Worcestershire Sauce | 1 teaspoon |
Pour marinade ingredients into a sealable container, as close to the same size of the beef so the marinade covers the beef fully. Then place beef in, marinade for 4-24 hours.
When ready to cook roast beef, take out of marinade, and place beef on a medium-hot pan to seal all edges. You should see a caramelization on the outside once the edges are seared.
In a separate pot, place potatoes in salted water, then bring to a boil. Boil potatoes until soft – about 30 minutes. You should be able to stick a fork in & out very easily. Once cooked, set potatoes aside. Prepare how you prefer: mashed, cubed, sliced, wedged.
Preheat oven to 350 F.
Place seared beef in a baking dish.
Bake beef along with potatoes or any other sides (if you have the room) until desired temperature, about 120 F.
Once the roast beef has reached 120 F, take out of dish and place on a cutting board, preferably one with grooves to catch any liquids that drip.
Slice and enjoy.
