|flour||2 cups, sifted|
|baking powder||2 tsp|
|oil, bacon fat, or melted butter||6 T|
|grated cheese||to taste|
|chopped ham, bacon, nuts, or jam||optional|
Mix all the batter ingredients (first 7 ingredients) together and beat until smooth. This is a thin batter. Add stuffing ingredients of your choice. Pour into a cake or brownie pan (7×11″ works well) and bake at 350-375F for 30-40 minutes, until an inserted knife comes out clean.
